Elizabeth Richardson

Elizabeth Richardson

Elizabeth Richardson is inspired to paint serene, magical visions which evoke a sense of well being and hope drawn from fond memories of cherished moments spent with loved ones and which enjoy an ethereal quality.
Her paintings promote peace and the joy of life, giving a calm and unrushed message to the viewer of everlasting summer days spent bathing in pure light against a colourful, enchanted backdrop as well as more understated, symbolic pieces.
Now living for some of her time in France as well as her beloved Yorkshire. Elizabeth enjoys luxuriously long days driving around winding country lanes, passing picturesque villages, rivers and lakes and meadows laden with brightly coloured flowers basking in the sunshine. These experiences, once captured onto canvas ensure that a passing glorious moment in time leaves a lasting imprint.
