Caspar Van Houten was born in Antwerpen, Belgium in 1966. He studied fine art at the Academy of Modern Art in Arendonk. After completing his art education he started work as a teacher of painting and sculpture. After some years he began work for several graphic design companies as an art-director, whilst still carrying on his passion for painting. Over the last few years Caspar Van Houten has been working on his skills as a painter and developing his quirky style. Interestingly he mostly paints at night, when the world is a sleep and there is not any noise.
