Ingrid is a Nottingham based artist and uses mixed medium to create her contemporary images. She is the daughter of a graphic designer and illustrator so has been interested in art from an early age. Working in America and Europe as a fabric designer Ingrid changed careers to manage several art galleries in the Nottingham area.

She is inspired by seascapes, landscapes and architecture. She has always been interested in art and studied textile design to degree level, canvas is her favourite medium as she can prepare it for painting either with textured mediums and/or embroidery.
