These prints date from about 1900 to 1920 before the car changed our towns and villages for ever. the introduction of full colour printing around 1900 enabled for the first time the reproduction of the subtle tints and tones of original paintings.
Ernest William Haslehust (12 Nov 1866 - 3 July 1949). He was a prolific painter of British landscapes in watercolour and is perhaps best remembered for illustrating 36 volumes of the well-known "Beautiful England" series of travel books published by Blackie

Sutton Palmer specialised in idyllic rustic landscapes painted in watercolours. He lived in London but painted widely in England (e.g. Surrey, Berkshire, Devon, Yorkshire) and Scotland
Frederick Whitehead was born in Leamington in 1853 seems to be best known for his paintings of the Dorset countryside. He rarely visited Leamington after his marriage, though, between 1881 and 1916, he illustrated three books on Warwickshire and Leamington Art Gallery and Museum holds eleven paintings and twelve prints of locations in Warwickshire by the artist as well as paintings and prints from locations in France, Wales and Devon
